Birmingham Directions for travel from Birmingham Int Airport to Derby

I will be traveling from Birmington Airport to Derby. Ariving airport 9am on a Saturday. Any details regarding catching train to Derby are appreciated. Need directions from the airport to the train station where I can catch the train to Derby. Also, what is station name? Where is ticket purchased? What is approximate costs? Can ticket be purchased with credit card?

There is an electric light rail link (free) from the first floor of the airport to the train station. Not sure if you can get a train direct to Derby or if you'll have to catch a train you new street station in Birmingham and change there

You have to change at Birmigham New Street for the Derby train. Whole journey takes about 1hr 20 mins. Credit cards acceptable, don't know about price - probably £10-£12 single? Go to www.thetrainline.com for more.
