Córdoba How long should I stopover at Córdoba?
Posted: Tue January 2, 2007 04:42 PM UTC
I will be going to Córdoba before heading to Seville.

Would appreciate if someone could advise me how long it takes if I follow this walking tour. ( http://www.infocordoba.com/spain/andalusia/cordoba/sightseeing/cordoba_historic_centre_walk.htm )

And also, how do you get to town from the train station?

Thanks in advance!

the alcazar and mezquita will take extra time (maybe an hour each) plus up to an hour for the walking (gentle stoll) plus any time for shopping and eating. Its lovely, but quite small.

Map of Cordoba.
The train station is the building at the top left corner, with the blue rectangle, on Avda de America. (The building in brown is the parking garage). Cross this street and walk down Avda de los Mosarabes. Go left and then right on to Passeo de la Victoria. Walk down this street until you see the city wall. Then carry on per your map, which is part of the map above.
It will take about 15 min (1 km) to reach the wall.
There are some Roman ruins on the walk.
