Is Coeur d Alene a good place to raise kids?

My family is considering a move to Coeru d Alene, for the low cost of living, and the fishing!
I want to know how the people are in that area?
Would it be easy to make friends there?
And how are the schools?

Coeur d'Alene is and will be a great place to raise your children. My family moved here in 1991 when I was 10. I am now 26 and am raising my son here. The cost of living is not so low here anymore. Great fishing in and around Cda. The peole here are for te most part very friendly and approachable. Very Republican and very consertaitve. Very christian based. If that is what you are looking for, Cda is a great place to be. Also, if you are considering it here, please email me and I can set you up with a realtor.
