I work in Sharjah. I plan to come to Kathmandu, stay for a couple of days and go to Muzaffarpur - my hometown. Can I get a flight to Patna or Birgunj? I heard of Helicopter servive? How much it costs?

Dear Manish,
I just returned from Patna to Kathmandu. By the way it was my first time in Bihar. I travelled from Patna to Raxaul-Birgunj. You can take a Bus from Patna Bus Terminal to Raxaul (Rs. 100 IC). The Rikshawala will charge you about 25 rupees to reach Birgunj, from Raxaul. You can stay there in Marwari Sewa sadan Guest House, reliable and affordable. You can take a bus from Birgunj to Kathmandu, (about 300 Nrs aour 200 IC) or can take plane from Simra to Kathmandu. Simra is near by Birgunj. It will be the shortest or may be the best way for you.
