Just wondering if there is a cheap hotel or hostel in Venice.. can anyone suggest one?

When we were there last year we stopped one town before Venice called Mestre and got a great hotel there for about 60 euros for a double room with breakfast. You can bargain for the best price at this time of the year as it is not so busy. The hotel was down a side street just down from train station.
