I will be in Lahore in January. Are there good prices for cameras there, or should I bring my own? I'm looking for a medium-priced digital. What is the weather like in January? I heard it was foggy. Is this usual at this time of year?

Weather these days in the most of the parts of Pakistan's foggy, and these conditions persist till the 10th 15th of February some year and later on the season takes a turn towards Spring.

I've seen some new digital cameras here in smugglers bazar, Peshawar, Olympus 5.0 mega pixels and the 1st price's like 200 US $, so you can make an assesment about the prices or better to bring yur own camera.

Today, many flights delayed at Allama Iqbal International airport, Lahore due to fog.

Cameras are relatively priced the same. You may be able to find a good deal from various catalogue stores (advertising in photo magazines). As Imran mentioned, there are variety of cameras available...starting quite cheaply for Chinese make (USD 60-70) and going into USD 2000+ (for digital SLR). Brand names available in Pakistan are Fuji, Sony, Minolta, Olympus, Canon, Nikon. And you pay more for brand names (especially Nikon).
