Can any one suggest us economical budget hotels in thimpu, paro, punakha,wangdiphodrag and phuntshilong we are a couple from mumbai intending to visit Bhutan in mid march 2007

Perhaps take a look at the homepage of VT member "Bhutanguide" or mail her. She is living in Bhutan and most probably can help you.

Hi,
If I kbnow, you must pay 200 USD per every day of stay in Bhutan in order to get the local visa and cross the border. In this sum you have a guide, hotel,etc. try to get in touch with anybody from Bhytan from VT. They will assist you probabely. rgds

hi,
came across ur blog on this website, so since i am planning to go to bhutan as well, can u please advise me on how to reah there, i am a citizen of india, also worth knowing is that do i need to take some tour package or i can go on my own, last thing i would like to know is that, which is a better place paro or thimpu, since i have at max 3 days for travel. regards rajat
