Is there a direct bus from Marbella to Cadiz? Don't want to go back into Malaga unless I have too.

Thanks, Michael.

Hello

yes, there are 3 direct buses every day, at 8:45, 14:15 and 16:45. The company that run these buses is called "Autobuses San Pedro" and the departure is from the "Carretera de Cadiz" (Cadiz road), not from the main bus station. The company has no website, but there is this telephone number: 952 78.13.96

Good luck!

Miguel

The largest bus operator based in Cádiz is called : "TRANSPORTES GENERALES COMES"
They have a web site that has routes and timings however you need to check locally when travelling. The web site is : www.tgcomes.es You will find a 'pdf' document for the timings from Marbella on this sheet:
http://www.tgcomes.es/horarios_3_english.htm

Also it is worth checking with the big bus company based in Marbella called "AUTOBUSES PORTILLO" and see the times etc here ; http://www.ctsa-portillo.com/horarios.html

Some buses serving this route are slower than others !

Finally to give you further 'clues' about which bus operators travel from Costa del Sol to Cádiz look up the Malaga bus station web site :
http://www.estabus.emtsam.es/

It can be a little confusing finding the correct bus because of different bus operators 'code sharing' the routes.
