Is there anyone who can recommend a tour company to take us to Petra from Eilat? and do I need 2 days or can I do it in one?

May I suggest Sar-El Tours. Their head office is in Jerusalem and they can be reached by either their website at http://www.sareltours.com or by phone at 00972-2-533-8000 or Fax: 00972-2-579-0203 or E-mail: sarel@sareltours.com. They are very helpful people and you can tell them I suggested you to contact them. Say "Sheldon from Tiberias." Number of days is dependant on you and what you want to see, I think. Listen to what they have to say and then make your decision accordingly.
