| Waikiki | Running course in Waikiki Posted: Thu December 28, 2006 01:40 PM UTC
I will be in Honolulu next week for six days. I would like to run during my stay in Honolulu. Are there any courses good for running in Waikikik, where is safe early in the morning or after dark? I am thinking to run 10 km. I will stay at Sheraton Kaiulani.
Thank you for your advice. Kazuko |

Many people are running in front of your hotel on Kalakaua on the beach side walkway towards Diamond Head. The course if flat until you approach Diamond Head then there is a slight incline. It's a beautiful run.
I see people running at 5am in the morning when Iam working out at 24 hr fitness.. You can run during the day but gets crowded around Kuhio Beach and in front of the hotels, but the area in the park is very good. It is well lighted and quite safe. Cheers!!
