| Dali | HEATED guesthouses/hostels in Dali Posted: Thu December 28, 2006 06:08 AM UTC
I am travelling from New Zealand with my son who's been teaching English in Chengdu, and will be in Dali in late January.
We are considering these guesthouses/hostels ...can anybody tell me whether they have twin rooms with own bathroom (& western style toilet) that have some kind of HEATING (any other advice on Dali accomodation welcome): 1. Dali mingtong yingxian hotel, Cai Cun village ...webpage on www.hostelbookers.com, but doesn't mention heating. 2. No 3 Guesthouse (has Korean & Chinese webpage but no English) 3. Dali Siji (4 Seasons) Inn has webpage on www.wacts.com - says Air-conditioning....that means heating in the winter? 4.Yu'an Garden Thanks |

sorry, probably too late with answering as it's March now and not cold anymore in Dali! anyway for next winter: in Jim's Tibetan Hotel they will give you small heater if you need it (no exta charge) the beds have electric blankets. In their other place Jim's Guesthouse they have the electric blankets but not the heaters...
