Hey!
I am currently living in Herzliya but will leave my place in the end of January. I am looking to move into Tel Aviv (I study at TAU, at the Mechina). But havent found the right place yet... my Budget is about 300-350 Dollars. do you have any suggestions? Thanks. Irene |

Would you object to sharing a flat with someone? If not, may I suggest you look at the student rental bulletin board near manpower in the university itself. There are usually some places to rent even if it will be winter term. I suggest also maybe to see if a family will put you up. There are ads listing such possibilities I am sure.
For the record, the amount you want to pay per month is not much by Tel Aviv standards and besides most contracts ask for almost a year in advance and sponsers to sign on the rspectability of your character. Best of Luck, Sheldon. P.S. If you find it really too hard, contact me and I will put you in touch with my son and his wife. They have opted to live in a suburb close by -- Holon. And they too can give you the in's and out's on moving to Tel Aviv.

I will rent an appartment starting March 2007 for about 36 month, but will live there only about 10 days a month. I am 44 years old, engineer and from Germnay. You can live there for free. Are you interested?

I read about your offer to Irene. I am from South Africa, a professor at the University of South Africa. I have been visiting Tel Aviv twice 2005 and 2006, work & leisure. I love to stay in Tel Aviv, Old Jaffa.
June I will be visiting again, experiencing problems with accommodation. Prof M Elizabeth Smit Widow, 57 years.
