Posted: Sun December 24, 2006 03:01 PM UTC
Hello,

I would like to contact "St. Martin's Bed and Breakfast" in Galway, but I haven't found a website or email-address. If someone is possible to get this, I would be very pleased.
If you have been in this B&B before, could you give me your opinion of this b& b (or better alternatives).

Neighborhood City Centre (Galway)

If you happen to stumble upon this little bed and breakfast without someone recommending it to you, then you should consider yourself really lucky. Located just two steps away from Galway's well-known Shop Street and also the City Centre, this accommodation makes for a cozy and relaxing stay away. Although it sits pretty on the canal side facing River Corrib, this place is not really well-known to a normal tourist visiting Galway for the first time, a good thing for those who like it the quiet and serene way. The rooms may not be equipped with modern luxuries, but are clean and have the basic amenities, including special comforts like a hot water bottle at night. In addition, the owner Mary Sexton looks after every detail and need, making the stay homely and unforgettable. Dog lovers would love it here even more as the owner's friendly dog is generally around to give you company. With all these features, it's no wonder that St. Martin's gets a thumbs-up from all its clients!

There's a very nice B&B just outside Galway City and located on Connemara Bay. It's called Son Amar.

Talk about a flood of pleasant memories! If you should decide to stay at ST. Martin's, you will not be disappointed. Mary epitomizes everything you expect of an Irish Grandmother or Favorite Aunt. The beds are so comfortable you almost hate to climb out of them to explore the heart of Galway, which is almost right outside your front door. It isn't extravagantly decorated but most homes in Ireland aren't furnished out in antiques. It is definitely a taste of the real Ireland, gracious hospitality, excellent, plentiful food and a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring. Oh, Tubbs, you must remember a treat for Tubbs! He is the most adorable dog, not at all under foot but very friendly. Mary doesn't have email or a website you will have to call over to arrange your stay, 00 +353 91 56 8286. There is a five hour difference if you are on the east coast.
