| Port Douglas | Now staying at Port sea resort Posted: Thu December 21, 2006 09:29 PM UTC
Hi everyone,
Our travel agent has moved us to the Portsea ,due to her recieving complaints from other memebers of our travel club about Le Cher Du Monde. We had booked a hire car for only 3 days of our 10 day/9 night stay as we were going to be in the centre of town, do we need to extend this due to being out of town? Also does anyone know what the Port sea day spa is like re prices etc. Thanks in advance Merry xmas Flossyflo |

No, not really, just hire a car when you need to do some trips.
There is a very regular bus service from centre of town, near the Irish Pub, if I remember rightly. This goes from one end of town to the other, it will drop you off near your accommodation. The service goes to around 12PM...during the round trip all day and night. Otherwise there are taxis, very reasonably priced. You will also be able to go onto the beach near the Port accommodation and walk into town, or you can hire a bike for the day/stay and ride along the beach or bike tracks near road to town. Have a great stay:)
