Ancona	ferry boarding in Ancona Posted: Sun December 17, 2006 09:21 AM UTC Hi all, Would like to know what the routine is when boarding the overnight ferry to Split. We will be arriving from Venice by train. How far is the station from the port? Is there a bus that connects the two? We know we need to be there 2 hours early to check in. What does checking in involve? Customs? Passports etc Is there somewhere to leave your luggage. Do you check it in or keep it with you in your cabin?
