I'm trying to pack light and I'm wondering if there is a need for a mosquito net in Guilin during wintertime (late January)?

Don't need a net in winter. I was there from Feb 23 to 26 and no sign of mosquitos. Probably heaps of them in Spring Summer and Autumn though. I noticed our hotel room had an electric heater-pad repeller.
