Ciao,
if you can find a lebanese consulate in your country is better. Otherwise you can have the touristic visa in Beirut Airport. You must buy some stamps in a special desk before to cross the police line. The cost of the visa is 25.000 lebanese lira, abt USD 17 - EUR 13.
No problem for visa (I travelled 3 times in lebanon and i have 3 visa on my passport)

For business visa or other I can't help you.

Giorgio

I don't think you'll have any problems, they're usually much friendlier in beirut airport than anywhere else i've been (cept canada) but if you're in doubt then just go to the embassy in warsaw and you'll save some time at the airport especially if you're arriving in the evening

no honestly i think you'll be fine, on my first trip there i met lots of young women travelling by themselves... wait that didn't sound right lol... no really though if in doubt just get the visa beforehand you'll be fine... the only problem you might have is, if you're lucky, the officials might ask you to go for a coffee

Have you been there yet Anka? How was it at the border? I'm still trying to figure out how to get a visa too :( There's no Embassy/Consulate where I live and I definitely can't get it at the border.

do you have a syrian embassy in thailand? if so you could always get a visa for syria, spend a couple of days there get a lebanese visa from there... if you get turned down, there's plenty of great things to see in syria as well

There is a Syrian Consulate here. My plan was to fly to Damascus and out of Beirut. My friend wants to see Lebanon while I wanna see Syria so we meet half way. I doubt how I can get a Lebanese visa in Syria as there's no Lebanese Embassy there?

hey :)
yes, i've already went to lebanon. finally it turned out getting lebanese visa was not a problem in Poland, but i dont know how it is when you have no lebanese consulate/embassy in your country. Normally it should be possible on the border, but from what i heard it can a problem, especially if you enter by land.
