Does anyone have experience with walking safaris in Hluhluwe - Umfolozi park? If so, do you have any advice? Was it good? Any one trip that is better than others?

Have you gone yet? I have been there two times but most of my experience with walking tours is in Kruger Park. Tremendously exciting tours there but as with anything, timing is the key. Totally hit and miss....but lion activity is more of a chance on tours in Kruger. Research that.

We did one last year from Mpila camp. Unfortunately due to lack of time we did the mid-day walk, so did not see much and were completely knackered at the end of it.It is not a gentle stroll!
