From Bari to Polignano (a Mare) and Lamezia Terme, then to Naples you might think to hire a car as by public transport could take a lot. Look for Maggiore, Avis, Hertz.. to be sure you can drop the car somewherelse you picked up.
from Naples to Palermo could be a long way both car or train, you could take a flight with alpieagles http://www.alpieagles.com or a ferry (there is a fast one, actually I don't remember the name, it goes via Ustica)

From Bari to Polignano, you need a car(you can hire it in the airport) and you arrive there in 1 hour from the airport;it's easy to get there by car,it's sufficient to follow the two-lane-state-road ss16 (blu road signs) towards "Brindisi".
You can also take the Tempesta bus from the airport to the Railway Station, where you can take a Regional train to Polignano. But maybe it's better and comfortable the first option.
