My husband and I are planning an imminent move to Islamabad and would like to know if anyone can advise on the best schools for British expats. We have 9 year old twins.

The American International school is good. There is also an excellent web site called tales from a Small Planet, you will be able to get a ton of information and links. Hope this information helps. I too am in the process of going to Islamabad for a few years and am actively seeking information about the city.

Actually the school is called the Internationl School of Islamabad. Just google Tales from a small planet, click on Tales from a small planet, select Real Post Reports, and from the country selection box select Pakistan. Then select Islamabad. There is an excelent write up by a teacher from that school. There is also an email address and you can email the school about school information.

There is no of good school where your childern can get state of the art eduation such as becon house shcool system, amry public shchool, etc
