Antarctica Travel Forum

I am travelling to Antarctica on the Bark Europa in February 07 and looking for advice from someone who has sailed from Ushuaia to the Antarctic peninsula on a tall ship. Anyone know this ship or going to be on the trip in February?

I've never sailed there before, but I'll beon the 2/28 trip from Ushuaia to Capetown.

I'm going in on Bark Europa 2008...I haven't been able to find any good advice. I'd love to hear from you when you get back. I good packing list would be wonderful.

I will also be sailing from Ushuaia to Cape Town on February 28th. It will be my first time to the peninsula area of Antarctica.

I will also be on the Europa to Capetown starting Feb 28th,

I have never been to Antarctica before, but I have been sailing since about 1958.

I would be happy to exchange information about what to take onboard and so on.

I am arriving in Ushaia on the 17th Feb.....going treking for a few days til the 27th feb.

Sounds like a dammed good trip.
I cannot wait.

I am also on this voyage in Feb 07. In Ushuaia now if you want to catch up. Freestyle Hostel. Larry has also been here (he also responded to your question), but has gone trekking. Cant wait. Only 6 more sleeps....
