Nassau Travel Forum

I am wanting to fly into Nassau, go visit the Hard Rock Cafe, and get back to the airport within a few hours. Is this possible?
One trip I could do would give me about 4 hours from touchdown to take-off and another one would give me 6 hours.
How are the NAS custom procedures on arrival and departure? How quickly can I get to town and back?

I am trying to visit all the Hard Rocks of the world.
Also, I work for an airline, so the flights are no big deal for me.

I was there in 2000, can't remember much other than that everything was go slow, no rush if u get my drift. At that stage they only had taxi's & it cost me $20usd each way, a rip off cosidering it was like a 10-15 minute drive. Customs was okay....

I was there last month and we got through customs pretty quickly. The drive to town takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day(traffic). It cost us $25.00 going and 30 coming back.
