| Cha-am | Baan Talay Samran Posted: Thu November 30, 2006 12:44 AM UTC
Does anyone know how far is this resort to the main Cha-Am town? Since there is no restaurant inside this resort, is there any good restaurants nearby?
Thanks BJ |

Hi,
Talay Samran is really lovely. Very nice houses and apartments with 4 swimming pools on a quiet beach. The area is quite quiet, but you can get freshly cooked Thai food there. Also the resort offers a free shuttle bus into Cha am beach if you want more restuarants. You can also easily get a taxi and it's cheap. I would definately recommend staying there. It's quiet, but very nice and easy to get to Cha am or Hua Hin if you want to.

I actually lived in Talay Samran for a while. Its very very quiet and peaceful.
K Moo runs the local restaurant and its great - super food at cheap prices. There is also a few more restaurants along the beach road on the way into cha-am - just before the fishing village.
