Hello,
We have booked a three day cruise around the Whitsundays on the Anaconda 3, has any one been or hear an reports about it??? After I booked I've read its the biggest party boat around, which is not music to my ears!!!! Can anyone help Cheers Steve |

I did a 3 day tour of The Whitsundays in 97. I don't remember the boats name but I had a brilliant time. The age group was 20-30 somethings, there was partying but lots of down time as well. The Whitsundays are breath taking Im sure you will enjoy yourself.

Hi Steve,
There are a lot of the racing yachts around the Whitsundays that take people out for 3 day cruises. It all looks a bit crowded to me, lots of people, not much shade, one toilet, cramped conditions etc but I have to say that everyone seems to have a great time. There other boats that you can get that may be a bit more comfortable and not aimed at the backpacker market. Try www.airliebeach.com.au because they have a selection of different boats for different people. Also www.seastarcruising.com.au which is a bareboat where you skipper the boat yourself. Have fun because it's a great place for a holiday.

hey steve, Anaconda III is an awesome boat - and it's definitely not one of the full on party boats - my flatmate works on Ana III and i've done the trip myself. all rooms have ensuite shower & toilet and cabins sleep 3 or 4. it can take 32 passengers but it's over 100ft long, it's a mega yacht. they have an onboard chef and the food is wicked. also the boat is licensed - the big party boats are all BYO. have a great trip ;-)
