hi all ... i will travel to hongkong and guangzhou soon and this time i must visit hangzhou for some bussiness ... and its my first time to hangzhou ... so please if any one can tell me some information like how i can go there from guangzhou and what special places there i must visit after i finish my bussiness meeting and so on ...

Hangzhou is famous for West Lake and Longjing Tea. Hangzhou is also famous for its food such as Dongpo meat, Begger's chicken, West Lake Vinegar fish. You can find some more information from my Hangzhou page.

I don't know what to recommend for you to visit since you've not said how much time you have available for sightseeing, nor anything about your sightseeing interests/preferences. Are you looking for places to visit in Guangzhou, or Hangzhou?

As for transport, you could take the train or fly. Train is cheaper, about 330-353 RMB for hard sleeper, but it takes 24-25 hours. Flying would be much faster but more expensive.

thanks ellyse ... i travel before many two times to guangzhou ... and i know it a little ... but actually all my travels was only for bussiness .. but this time i wish to see and know more about guangzhou and i hear that hangzhou is a very beautifull place and its nature is soo good ... so i dont want to pass it this time with out c this good city ... thats why i ask for help .. and for period of time ... its ok i have a lot of time ... i can stay for two weeks in guangzhou and one week in hangzhou ... and i wish to c also the places around hangzhou like yiwu and so on .. and markets and soo on ..

Could you please read up a bit more about what's there to see in Hangzhou and Guangzhou? If you can't get your hands on any guidebooks, do a Google; and also please check out what fellow VT members have written on their Travel Pages about these 2 destinations. I don't know if you're lazy or just ignorant... I hope it's the latter!

I think VT is buggy, my one reply also got posted 4 times through no fault of mine.
