Lonely Planet - "Central America on a Shoe String" has excellent tips on travel. Flights to Roatan from San pedro sula are $53 (Via La Ceiba), one way, or $16 to La Ceiba one way!

Hi Breeze,
To book the first class bus go to Hedman Alas website:
www.hedmanalas.com
When I made my reservations they wanted my passport number so be ready for that.
I can't find a website for the ferry but here's the schedule:
Roatan/La Ceiba 7:00 A.M.
La Ceiba/Roatan 9:30 A.M.
Roatan/La Ceiba 2:00 P.M.
La Ceiba/Roatan 4:30 P.M.
From what I've read on other websites they have a new 400 passenger ferry so reservations should not be necessary - I hope. I think it's $15 US each way.

Isla de Roatán Traveling to Roatan from San Pedro Sula

Breeze -

The Lonely Planet air prices posted are about 5 years out of date. If you want to fly reserve through the Islena Airlines site at http://www.flyislena.com/ Their prices are what all of the locals airlines charge in-country (rates are controlled)

BK's information is correct and up to date on the bus and ferry. Generally reservations are not needed for either (showing up an hour a head of time is usually sufficient)

Have fun!
