it's only my second time in thailand, so pls bear with my simple question. is there such thing as prepaid mobile phone sim card available? if so, where can i buy them? they work on 2G phones?

anyone knows how much taxi would cost going from town to AKA resort 5km past the elephant village?

any suggestions for a 3 day trip in hua hin?

sim cards and pre paid,,,yes can get them eveywhere,,711 has them and all the mobile shops sell them...hua hin,,,nice beach there,,,golf,,shoppings not bad,,there is a good fish market in town..heaps of shellfish and funny looking crayfish,,things,,,they are not crayfish,,,but the taste is similar,,the thai name for these things is gung,,CHOOKE DEE

beware of the sims from 7/11 i bought one and the young thia girl at the counter did not know how to register it thus it did not work.
I had to buy another at a mobile phone shop and it was done in seconds.
best to check if they know how to do it before buying.
