Check with the Hotel u are staying in Ko lanta,they will arrange for the transfer.

It took me 2 hrs to get to Lanta by boat from Ao Nang. I don't think the boats run at night.

the other way is to go via car with 2 times car ferry crossings,the hotel will advise when is the last ferry.

Yeah, after my 2 hour boat trip to Lanta I took a mini-bus back and got stuck at ferry stops for hours due to congestion.
