If Anyone who's been there - I plan to go in first week of April. Is it a good time ? Is it easy to find cheap reasonable accommodation for about $15-25us - a day.

I think you will not find accommodation for 15 - 25 USD (??).
Most residencials were (last year) from 20.000 Chilean pesos, is almost 40 USD. Take a look at my Easter Island page for Residencial Tahai. Jaap
