hello everybody

my name is pierre from sweden and going to caracas in januari but i have a problem to find a apartment for 3 month ,can anyone help me where to find one near the sea of caracas? if there is anyone who is traveling alone maybe we could share apartment?

Hi Pierre:

It is difficult to find apartments in Venezuela for short period of time. Caracas is about 1 1/2 hour from the coast line and that area is not very nice. You will arrive at the Simon Bolivar airport (Maiquetia)located at the coast which is Vargas state. Venezuela has beautiful beaches, but they are outside Caracas. Do you have to stay in that area? Falcon State, Anzoategui State and Margarita Island (20 minutes flight from Caracas) have beautiful beaches. Try www.hoteles.com.ve although they don't show pictures.

Hi Pierre,

I hope to be in Caracas for a year, starting next month. If you've found a safe, decent place and need someone to split the rent with, please let me know. I want to be close to Chacaito, but anywhere near the Metro is fine.
