Acapulco New Years 2007 Hotel Recommendation??
Posted: Fri November 17, 2006 09:57 PM UTC
My boyfriend and I (early 30's) and a bunch of his friends are planning a trip to Acapulco this New Years - non of us have kids. We'd like an atmosphere with a mixture of party (his friends are closer to 25) and relax (I don't want to be surrounded by 18-30 year olds). We're definately hitting up seeing DJ Tiesto at the Palladium both nights! But after new years want to chill a bit. We also want a decent size pool with nice grounds. Any suggestions?

After New Year's partying the best chill out place is with your own pool at Las Brisas Resort or the private Las Brisa beach club with fresh and ocean pools as well as a restaurant.

Las Brisas is nice. Each pair of casitas has a private pool; some casitas have wholly private pools. The site is distant from town -- though there's a fine restaurant nearby and many visitors rarely if ever leave the grounds.

More interesting, and near the center of town, is Villa Vera. It offers a few casitas with private pools; but most guests stay in nicely appointed rooms in an apartment-type building.

Boy, I'm ashamed. I didn't pick the budget that high. Good job guys. Larry, Ned, I bow my head in shame.
Can I at least recommend Tacos and Beer?
