I will arrive at Stuttgart airport at about 1030 pm from a trip. I have to get to Tübingen and I dont think there are any more buses (no. 826) at that time. how much does it costs to take a cab to Lustnau at that time of the night and how long would it take? There are no trains right?

the train will get you there till after midnight! check www.bahn.de as departure use "stuttgart flughafen" and as destination "tübingen hbf" (without "") so it will get you the connections from the airport. you will have to change trains at stuttgart main station (stuttgart hbf).

busses only run p to 7:30 pm.

one option is via S-Bahn 10:52, one 11:38 and one 0:08, will take about 1 to 1,5 hour, cost are 9 to 13 Euro, depends on which one You take.

There are suburban trains at that hour, s-bahn, but you would need to change a couple of times which would make for a long journey in the middle of the night. VVS is the name of the stuttgart public transport and if you go into their website you can click on timetables then follow the prompts, it is available in English. I don,t know where you are flying from but at that hour of the night a taxi might make more sense as changing trains with luggage is a pain in the neck.
