Veracruz Travel Forum

Hi,

can somebody help me to figure out about how much it will cost me to travel from Mexico to Vera Cruz. And Perhaps tell me with wich company I can travel.
I try to get informations on internet but they are not matching. One time I get the info that it would cost about 25$ (first class) and on the buses home pages I get about 330$. The difference is too big to figure it out in mexico :-)

Most of the bus service to Veracruz from Mexico City departs from the TAPO - eastern - bus terminal in the city. Bus companies ADO and AU offer the most frequent/popular service. The ticketbus.com.mx website, mentioned in the remarks by the person ahead of me, is a good website at which you can check fares and departure times. The service is very frequent. Travel time is about 6 hours. Veracruz is a great destination often overlooked by foreign tourists. Enjoy yourself!

The price of $330 quoted on the Mexican web page is quoted in Mexican pesos, not US dollars. In Mexico the "$" symbol refers to pesos. With a current exchange rate of about 11 pesos to 1 dollar, this price would be less than 33 U.S. dollars.
