Bilbao Travel Forum

We plan our next trip, and are thinking about Bilbao, San Sebastian, Toulouse and Biarritz.

In general we go in vacation in June or September, because we hate the hot weather. However, we do not like to have many rains and too cold.

Is October a good period to visit this zone?

It should be fine but the weather is unpredictable. I've been in September and it was cold. I've been in November and it was warm. This July there was a massive hailstorm! Who cares! It's a great city to visit and from Bilbao it's not too difficult to get to San Sebastian. If you have a car then you can do some touring and heading east towards the Picos Mountains is reccomended. I'm sure the temperatures will be fine so give it a go.

Good answer above. You never know. Be prepared to wear in layers. But the landscapes will be beautiful, try to spend some time away from the main cities if you can.
