Wild Camping!?

Me and a friend are thinking about wild camping next summer, we were just wondering about good spots were look to do a long hike from Coniston to keswick over three days, can anybody reccomend some good place to stay in the wild? I know Styhead Tarns a good one, we were thinking about Red Tarn below Cold Pike?
