Hi,
My husband and our 14 year old son are planning on staying in our time shate in Sedona,AZ this christmastime- any suggestions, ideas for things to do while we are there over the holidays? Thanks |

Another travel board had Sedona and northern Arizona as destination of the month. Here is the link:
http://p104.ezboard.com/feuropetogofrm12.showMessa The hiking is great around Sedona. They would definitely enjoy a Pink Jeep tour, the Verde Canyon Railway, and Jerome. Not far they can see Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, Pinted Desert/Petrified Forest, Wupatki National Monument/Sunset Crater -- and, of course, the Grand Canyon. I don't think any of these are more than 3-4 hours from Sedona.

Great ideas from last post. I would also throw in horseback riding. They go in the mornings, a bit cool, but the red rocks look gorgeous when the morning sun hits. There is a lot to do outside as previously mentioned, hiking, biking, etc., but nothing really kiddie oriented, so hopeful your young son will adapt. There is a newer wine bar(forget the name) for the adults tho. Good luck.
