We are staying at Golden Sands Hotel in December. Our tour operator runs a trip called Neyyar Trek. Has anyone done this? If so, how rough is the terrain? What kind of walking boots/shoes do we require? We enjoy walking and thought this would be a good thing to do.

I am a native of trivandrum and had gone for trekking in Neyyar a few time. The forest is consists of small hills and so any good walking shoes will do. I do not know how far this trip will take you. But there are a few beautiful waterfalls and if you are lucky you can see wild life too
