We're planning to go to the party on the 5th December but have been told it may not be happening because it clashed with a public holiday - does anyone know more? Thanks |

I checked on the - I think - official web site and the party seems to be on Dec the 6th...isn't that true?

The Full Moon Party will be on the 6th of December because no alcohol selling is allowed on the 5th (which happens to be the King's birthday).
So, if you want to go there for the party, it is still on.

i was in Koh phangan in feb this year...
one of the nights surrounding the full moon was a public holiday.. everything was closed (no alcohol)... unitl 12 pm.. then everything came to life and was just a normal party night!!! so even if the full moon is on a public holiday... it should all be happening by 12 anyway!! have fun
