| Nassau | snokeling in Nassau Posted: Sun November 5, 2006 09:21 PM UTC
My husband and I are taking our kids--22 and 29 to Nassau on a Carnival cruise. We would like to go snokeling and hang out at a nice beach for the day in Nassau (Nov 17th) but we really don't want to spend the 45.00 pp to get there and back that they charge on the ship. We have our snorkel equipment already. Can you help me with transportation to one of the pretty snorkel beaches? Thanks! Kathie

Kathie, We stay on Cable Beach and find snorkeling there good for us beginners. For more advanced you will have to ask a local cabbie. If you want to try Cable, take bus 10 from the downtown dock to the cable beach hotels and ask the driver to drop you at the public beach. From there you can walk/swim the beach in front of the hotels. Hope this helped some. Dan
