Sedona Where to stay for a 65th birthday celebration
Posted: Sat November 4, 2006 03:09 PM UTC
My sisters and I are taking my mom to Sedona for her 65th birthday. There will be 6 of us total and we are looking for a place with at least a kitchette so we don't have to eat out for all the meals. I was thinking about a condo rental or timeshare. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Or areas of town

I would recommend Dahl and DiLuca; fabulous italian food, and make sure to ask for Reggie for your waiter. The interior is Very elegant with big flower arrangements. There are people who drive in from Phoenix especially to go to this restaurant.

I have stayed with a group of friends at House of the Dancing Sun, http://houseofthedancingsun.com/. That might suit your needs. You might also look at Briar Patch Inn, http://www.briarpatchinn.com/. I believe their Ponderosa cabin would fit your needs quite nicely.

The Pink Jeep Tours are a great adventure, http://www.pinkjeep.com/, and something you might want to consider. You are close to Jerome, which is a wonderful "ghost" town. Jerome,http://www.azjerome.com/, is now an artist community.

May your mother, your sisters and you all have a blessed adventure as you celebrate such a grand occassion!

Hi,
There are some great time shares in the area. We have stayed at Sunterra resorts over the past 5 years and have always been happy-
Why not try and contact the local resorts to see what they offer?
I do not have the local numbers, but do have the names:
The Ridge Golf & Tennis resort and the summit resort.
I have heard that Poco Diablo is nice and also check out the resort at Tlaquepaque(I forgot the name of the resort)-
