We bought a painting (800 euro or $1025 U.S.) on Oct. 5, 2006 from the following location as indicated on the gallery's business card:

The painting was to be sent to arrive at our home in the U.S. by Nov. 1. E-mails we've sent to the gallery will not go through, and we are notified that the e-mail address and website cannot be contacted. Do you know this gallery and how we can contact it? Have you tried telephoning the gallery?

Phoning is a good idea. However, the mail in Italy is notoriously slow so I don't think I'd worry too much for another month. (I would phone though!)

I wonder if you are dialing the phone number correctly. You would need to dial 011-39-575-605184 if you are calling from the USA to Italy.

The 011 is the international number
The 39 is the code for Italy
You need to leave off the initial zero from the given number unless you are dialing withing Italy.

If you already know this, I apologize.

We have bought paintings from this gallery two separate times and received them without a problem. It did take a while and the paintings did not arrive when we expected them.

Hoping to see you get resolution- it looks like you'll be OK based on previous posts experience with this business. Yes, the italian post... Here in NE Italia, I've recieved mail from the states faster than from Milano!
