I'm not quite sure what you mean; are you staying in a hotel? Most hotels can provide facilities for babies (but check before you come) and most will have somewhere you can boil a kettle for formula, or warm up baby food. Many cafes and restaurants will do this too, although not all; it is best to ask when you go in.

Newcastle is perfectly ok for babies and children, although it will probably be quite cold and wet at the end of December. Make sure you have enough warm clothes for your baby (hat and mittens too), and something waterproof to cover her when you go out.

Well, it will be very busy and noisy towards the end of the evening, obviously, probably with lots of drunken people around. I don't think I'd take a small baby to a city centre New Year's Eve anywhere, not just Newcastle, but that's a personal choice.

If going to the Metro centre for shopping there is a great family Italian restuarant which I used to work at many year ago however they will aways take great care of children and cook or heat any food you need for the baby. It is called Romano's. Enjoy your trip!
