I'm going to Baja for 2 and a half weeks in august and was wondering if anyone knows of good places and cities. I have read Lonely Planets guide, but I would prefer people who have had personal experiences...

hello,

me and a couple of friends drove as far as Mulege. The drive through Catavina is really cool, cuz they got these big rocks and cacti all mixed in... Mulege is charming, and the beaches seem to be ok -- it was foggy when i was there, the water is clear and transparent.

If you are driving, don't do it at night, there are roaming animals on the roads, and we saw our share of crashed vehicles on the side of the roads. Usually the animals start to come out during sunset, so keep your eyes open for cows, goats, ducks, and many others!

I am wondering what you mean by tequila. Are you suggesting we each drink a bottle? A shot? what? If you’re suggesting a bottle.... I can assure you my tolerance has not been built up to THAT level yet....
