Does anyone know of any organizations in Tianjin that focus on economic/community development, gender and development, or anything else along those lines? I'm looking for an organization that I can get involved with while I'm in Tianjin...I'll be here until July 2007 so I figured I might as well get involved and offer to be of whatever help I can.
I've heard of the Tianjin Women's Federation? Know anything about it? Thanks, Lyndsey |

I highly recommend you get involved in the Philip Hayden Orphanage located just to the north of Tianjin near Langfang. When I lived in Langfang I met many of their memebers from the US, they come for 2 weeks at a time to work at the orphanage, I think you will find the experience rewarding.
