I am now on the way to Huangsan. Please advice where I can change my Brunei Currency to China Money. Is the local Money changes accept or I have to go to the local bank. Wich bank i should go. Is the airport have any money changes and do they except Brunei Currency? Thanks

Not sure is there money changes counter in the airport.
Can try change from local bank like Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China etc.

usually bnd is not accepted in china even at bank of china and i don't think most of bank staff know abt this currency.

is bank of china hv any branch in huangsan area?? if not what other bank in huangsan area?? any international bank like standard chartered or HSBC there???
Why the local money changes and Bank don accept BND as it is par with singapore currency....please advise is there other way of changing the currency.

Brunei currency isn't as widely exchangeable as SGD. Who in China would care if they're on par rates or not? It isn't useful to them at all, so they don't want it.
Speaking of which, apart from SGD, I think all the other South-East Asian currencies are not really exchangeable in China at all. I can't even get my Malaysian ringgit changed!

Thanks for the advice. We will be back to shanghai on the 1/11/06 and can I change it at the Bank of China. May be other international bank like standard Chartered or HSBC. We will be staying at Wuning Road,Putuo District Shanghai. so where is the nearest bank address and how to go there.

Oh, forgot to add, one of the greatest concentrations of banks (both local and foreign) is on the Bund, so you might want to try your luck there.
