| Ipoh | Salted Chicken (yim kuk kai) Shops Posted: Sat October 28, 2006 04:10 AM UTC
Hi Folks,
Was in Ipoh on 24/09 (Raya Day 1). Took my time there till 5pm and went to the salted chicken shop in town (near Kamdar, think is called Jalan Theatre). Can you believe it, the chicken is all sold-out. And so the question. Is that shop the only one in Ipoh? Cannot be right? |

There are at least 2 shops for Yim Kuk Kai.
The one near Kamdar is more prominent because it is on the main street, and is not far from Kamdar. You should just ask the locals and they can tell you where the other shops are. If you really need this info, I can ask my colleague based in Ipoh. Write me an e-mail if you are in DIRE need of this info, All the best!
