Christmas Concerts at St Thomas Kirch

I shall be in Leipzig over Christmas and would like to attend the Christmas Motet (24th) and the carols (20-22th) at St Thomas Kirch. Does one need to buy tickets ahead or is it like a typical church event open to everyone who gets there early enough?

If one just needs to be early, how early do we need to be?

If we need tickets, how do I order them?

From what I read on their website, tickets are 2 Euro. No reservation is possible, so if you're early you'll have a seat. How early?? Hopefully someone from Leipzig will tell you. For the special Christmas service at my church you have to be there at least one hour before service starts.
