Some more Dublin questions

Hi all,

finally I have booked the flights to Dublin for New Years Eve. Thanks for all your help so far.

It really seems like I have been away from Dublin for too long, I have so many unanswered questions in my head. Maybe you could answer them? Thanks!

1) I read on their website that Aerdart doesn't exist anymore?! What is the best way now to get to Clontarf Road? Will the airport bus cross the line of bus 130 anywhere by any chance? To be honest I don't quite understand the Dublin Bus website and their timetables. How do I find out which bus takes which route?

2) Where to celebrate New Years Eve avoiding Temple Bar? Do you have any down to earth pubs you could recommend. Are there any concerts/special events that night? If you want to invite us to a private party we probably wouldn't say no either ;)

3) Is the taxi situation still a nightmare on new years eve? Will night busses be in service that night? We need to get back to Clontarf Road and aren't too keen on walking all the way.

4) Are night busses in service weekdays or only on weekends?

I am sure the closer we get to travelling the more questions will appear in my head. I am terribly sorry already for forwarding them all to you ;)

Thanks a million for all your help!
