Are you sure you want to go to Nijmegen? Erasmus University is in Rotterdam, in Nijmegen you have Radboud University.
1. Have you considered the bus from Spain to Holland? Look at www.eurolines.com. 2. From Eindhoven you can take a train or a bus to Nijmegen. Bus station is next to train station. Schedules and prices I do not know, inquire when you arrive there. 3. Never pay your bus ticket on the bus, that is much more expensive. For the bus, buy a socalled 'strippenkaart' beforehand. Remaining strips can be used anywhere in the Netherlands on local and intercity buses. Train tickets you buy at a vending machine, using debit or credit card. Buying at the ticket office is more expensive.

Train from Eindhoven to Nijmegen single fare 2nd class is Euro 11.20 (11,70 from the counter).
Everything on the "Strippenkaart" being used on all Dutch busses, trams etc at: http://www.vbn-bv.nl/ovinfo/algemeen_en.asp?vPaginaID=204 PJ

From the airport to the railway station there are buses (line 401) every 15 minutes.

I have one advice.Stay away from Nijmegen. It is the most sad place of the world.U hardly see people around.Social life = zero. shopping =0, Dutch..really really sad people.Either not approachable, or they smoke weed all the time. If u come for the latter than yes indeed. Trains suck and they are dam expensive.
Dutchland is perfect palce to work, 9-5.30..after that life does not exist at least here in Nijmegen, maybe amsterdam or utrecht are much better.By the way bring ur own food dutch cuisine if such a thing exists, is smashed potato and...and..what else..Ahh if u are lucky some piece of meat. Good luck
