Please could someone help me, we are planning a trip to Poland next year and we are flying to Katowice and would like either to go to Poznan or Zeilona Gora is there a train to either of these places and how long does it take to get there.

Train schedule:
http://rozklad.pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en? There're several direct trains to Poznan (takes approx. 5 hrs) and one direct train to Zielona Gora (6 hrs) But remember that schedule will change in December.

It is very ok to travel this route Katowice - Zielona Gora - Poznan. Each city is must see!:)
